Its stock market value is already higher than that of Google and Amazon. They will pump it higher. #apple #microsoft #nvidia
The question is... Have you seen anything that could stop the nvidia train in the short term?
If genai creates more value than being a cute toy or workhorse for creating spam then the value might be sustainable. If that promise of high economic value does not manifest then I think the accelerator market will not fare as well
You are correct, but in the short term, people are still going to be bullish. As long as the bull sentiment persists...Nvidia remains a no-brainer.
It’s hard for silicon companies, and hardware companies in general to stay at the top for long. Ultimately selling physical things has a much higher cost basis than delivering a virtual service, and those end up dominating the market cap world. This isn’t to say nvidia is doomed at all, just unlikely to be Wall Street’s favored child for long.
Apple talking about not selling physical things
I expect nVidia will overtake us too, before themselves being overtaken in some years.
The market cap is so high that I suspect competition will be fierce. Nobody is dominant forever. Look at Intel.
It is a joke that nvidia is higher market cap than Google. It’s a bubble and will pop at some point. Not sustainable at all
nvidia revenue and profit margins also higher dude
No. There are no real network effects that would drive a winner-take-all dynamic here, so competition will quickly chip this away. The stock is also detached from reality re: company performance (basically assumes they’ll maintain this monopoly-like margin indefinitely as the market expands)

Lasik cost
Maybe temporarily but imo that value is inflated by hype in genai, and their business model seems ripe for toppling by competition
Have you seen what Open.Ai released for info yesterday?
