Will Oracle walk me out same day? If I say I am going to competitor
I hear that Oracle will ask people to pack-up same day, if they submit 2 week notice and declare that they are going to a competitor(Azure, GCP, AWS). They pay for two weeks, but you don’t have to work. I am trying to confirm if this is true ? Does it apply to all roles/levels or certain senior levels. Is it a documented policy. Anybody know ?

On the other hand, being asked to leave same day, but not get paid for two weeks, is not so good
I haven’t seen it happen. Many collegues went to MSFt amazon and GCP
Also one day say I will reveal on the last day.
Can I ask my manager or HR to have me stop working(take away my work vpn access) but pay me for two weeks. Because I am declaring that I am joining a direct competitor?
