Will my comp be reduced if I want to move from bay area to Seattle?
To start with, current comp is not that great but does oracle cut down your salary as per location? Anyone who moved from oracle bay area to Seattle please share your experience

It’ll be adjusted at a much friendlier rate than going from lower COL to higher COL I imagine.
Not sure about compensation but you can certainly expect a reduced quality of life and diminished upward mobility.
What's wrong with the quality of life in Seattle compared to Bay area?
Move and find out. People are way more anti-social. Dating scene is bad. Seattle freeze is real. Weather is bad (dim, cloudy, raining, cold) for 9 months which severely limits outdoor activities. Your overall happiness is much lower and partly because of the sunshine. I’ve lived in both cities. Planning to move back to the bay after over a decade in Seattle.
