People have been moaning a whining for a long time but I feel Gemini & the inability to generate images of white peoples is the first *real* time that being too “inclusive” has hurt a major company. Finding the upper bound could encourage a whole new wave of policies surrounding being actually inclusive and not just “more brown”. I’m sure the Gemini team is adding all kinds of tests for “generate white persona”, “generate a nazi” etc, will the equivalent happen at higher executive levels?
The problem is the holier-than-thou attitude of these companies and the democrats and their self proclaimed moral authority in determining what is “good”for others to see. The elites basically think that they are better than you in making a moral decision.
TIL twitter trolls are “the elite”
Sure, and republicans aren't pushing their degenarate morales like in Alabama? Open your eyes.
It’s not “inclusive”, it is exclusive.
Internet literacy. I wrapped it in quotes.
It won’t hurt Google at all. They’ll fix it before anyone even knows what it is. Go ask your non-SF neighbor if they even know what Gemini is. Also, what happened to Bard? Did they rename it?
My neighbor will not know Gemini even after they fix it.
All of these models have a left leaning bias. With images it’s just so much easier to see it.
The damage is done, the manipulative intent is already revealed and stamped in history.

What is the minimum number of years you should spend at a company so that it doesn’t look bad?
I think that they'll just never allow generations of people again
This would kneecap them in the market.
