Will threads be more “open” than facebook and instagram?

So supreme court just ruled that the Fed cannot sit down with social media platforms to “co-work” because it actively silenced certain opinions. Elon is bragging that Twitter will always be a platform of free speech. Do you believe Threads will tag a similar rule or stick to similar policies of Facebook and Instagram?

I think threads will silence people for authoritarian governments like Elon has

Is Zuck too liberal, or is he just interested in maximizing data harvesting and money?

I would think higher income liberals and all the people disinterested in politics are much more valuable customers than angry maga people. If he allowed Trump he would lose his most valuable customers and not have an advantage over twitter

Threads will make the Fediverse more popular, which in turn will foster free speech on alternate but interconnected platforms

If they want advertisers they will keep the Nazis off the platform.
