If your job makes you go back to the office at some point in the near future will you quit? #engineering #software #swe
Going to office is good
No
If I go full remote, there's more competition now because I have to compete with people all across the USA and to a lesser extent around the world. Staying onsite inflates my value and therefore I would be GLAD if my employer does not go remote.
But it also inflates living costs.
You over estimate how many people want WFH
I underestimated how many fools want to go back to the office.
Lol Blinders and quit jobs for such a reason? Not at all!
No successful company is ever gonna go full remote. It’s no question that people work better and more efficiently when they are together in person, especially for something like engineering.
Fuck no I rather meet ppl in person
Yes, I will quit and go to a higher TC company or full remote again.
Needed an option for already remote. I've been remote for 8 years. I would only consider commuting for a FAANG.
