Planning to drop 50-100k on snowflake. What say? Edit: got in with 40k @ 256 🤞🏻 DCA !!! #personalfinance #investments
My crystal ball says you'll be fine.
Probably a good bet
Jizz all over snow
Lol it was $200 a share a few weeks ago
Yeah, I missed it :(
I bought in at $300 an it tanked…waiting for $300 so I can dump it and move on
Go ahead, can’t wait when it comes down to low 100s
Go for it.
Why Snow instead of low cost sp500 or entire us market? Later is far more diverse and safe and potentially good returns of Abt 5-7% annually
Competition w Firebolt?
Firebolt can't even replace snowflake. Last I heard from one of their reps you needed a traditional data-warehouse AND firebolt.
What was your use case? And did the rep say what Firebolt should be used for? There is so much hype rn. They got a huge funding not too long ago.
DCA to lessen your risks. They have a solid product and GTM, but a plethora of weaknesses/vulnerabilities to accompany (high burn rate, proprietary, SQL oriented, responsibility for customers' data, etc) Signed, an employee of one of their competitors and an investor in $SNOW
can u guys fukn IPO already? id throw money at you guys if y’all just go public
Yes, and they’ve been somewhat lucky in that their marketing is A+ and people haven’t quite vocalized Snowflake’s weaknesses. That’s probably going to change once the long term weaknesses are exposed. Your list is good, but also add cost. Not nearly as cheap as they advertise. Sure.
I mean why not right? You’re an angel 🤗
