Also contrary to what ive heard in the forums, my experience interviewing with workday has been smooth, transparent and interviews lined up quickly. WD plans to hire 50+ product managers by EOY so they are going at it aggressively
Yeah, they set up my interviews for next day essentially since i have a quick timeline. Mind if I DM some more pointed questions?
Update on my final round. It was more of experience based questions and how to handle situations with different job families tech/design/product. Received an offer and BOL for everyone else!
Congrats!! Seems like a pretty easy interview. TC and PM level?
Sr PM, 250k
250k was your WD offer? Seems a bit low for a bay area tech company salary no?
it's pretty good for WD. they're known for not having high comp
Not the Bay Area location, I dunno though, don’t have the pulse on the going rate right now haha. So many factors, but I’ll file that away for if I ever go out west
I just had my first recruiter interview, it was super casual. Have a HM coming up tomorrow and was told it was more behavioral and deep dive on your experiences. Care to shear what you got as you go through?
Recruiter and HM calls are super laid back. More to understand role and how it aligns with your experience. Design interview was quite easy.
Great to hear! Yeah, I have the “power day” soon. Do you have insight on what “value creation” and the “technical skills” competency is looking for. Is it a case or is it more describe your experience that exhibit those competencies?
