I have an interview with the Senior Director, Product Manager next week. Theme of the interview is Decision-Making and Collaboration, could anyone tell what questions should I prep for this round? Thanks a lot in advance. TC - $0 (was recently laid off) #workday #productmanager #productmanagement #interview #productmanagerinterview
What is the average salary Workday offers for this role?
I don’t know. Just here to seek some guidance on how to prep for this round.
$400k
Lol funny
@AqCw23 how did it go? What kinds of things did they ask?
Still waiting for the final outcome. It seems they are interviewing multiple candidates.
How did your interview go? Can you please share little bit more information about your interview and what was asked in each round?
Did not get it. Interview was straight forward. 1 round with HM, 2nd with Sr Director, and then 3 panel interviews with Eng director, Sr. PM, and Principal PM. All rounds were behavioral.
No was you'll get $400K
I don’t know but for the love of all that is holy please tell them to hire some UX people. I know nobody outside of HR who doesn’t think Workday is utter trash.
Workday has high quality designers. The sub standard UI comes across for mainly 2 reasons 1) tenant config - the complexity in tenant configurations makes the UI slow 2) the security dictates of orgs who buy workday - our users are not end users but the CIOs of orgs. And their policies sometimes degrade user experience, such as prohibiting data cache.
Keep telling yourself that it’s the customer’s fault. It’s not. The UI is shit and even good UX designers can’t fix it because of tech limitations.
