Workday is just a recruiting solution, they let customers to configure what questions to display to candidates and how much information they want to collect per candidate. So the point is the issue you are pointing is not workday created problem it’s the companies you apply for who have configured their recruiting system that way
It’s not just a recruiting solution, it’s end-to-end HR and takes 50 clicks to do everything with a counterintuitive interface.

I exit out of applications if I need to make an account. Not like you are FAANG or something, so making me create an account and go fill 6-8 pages of data just for a random application.
