Workday vs. Eventbrite

I am leaving the consulting world to become a software engineer. I am a Java developer at Cap but mostly did App Support work (= didn't learn shit) and was a Business Analyst for the first year. I am looking to grow my skills as a SDE at the moment but am also interested in becoming a PM in the future (not sure yet). I do have a degree in CS from a reputable school and I am also doing online Masters in CS since last fall. Workday Base: 125k Bonus: 10% RSU: 85k / 4 yrs Sign-on: 0 (recruiter is checking on this but is unlikely to get one) WFH/RTO: hybrid 50/50, office ~ 2 days/week one of the core product team, but will probably have to use XO (their proprietary language) Eventbrite Base: 123,625 (the number is weird cus it was 115 and I negotiated) Bonus: 7.5% RSU: 80k / 4 yrs Sign-on: 5k WFH: fully remote will get to work on the core product they are building from scratch YOE: 3 Location: Atlanta I appreciate your input!

Try to negotiate better at eventbrite and go there as long as they have a normal tech stack.

I think that's the best they can offer. I already tried negotiating the sign on bonus to 10k but they said they couldn't do it. And yes they have a normal tech stack lol.

Go for eventbrite. They are growing post pandemic and their stock gonna do well. You will thank me later.
