Adobe employees - what's it like working there. I hear the hiring bar is extremely low and they hire some absolute numpties. Is this an exaggeration or does recruitment and management have zero idea of what's going on? Discuss.
you're bang on! Those grapes are really sour!
TL;DR we have the same hiring problem as anyone else that is not FANG in the bay area, just like Salesforce. We pay reasonably well and provide more WLB, but don't get into bidding wars. still, work needs to get done and interviewing candidates is very taxing on a team, so we're working with all kinds of people that are passionate enough and help them become rockstars.
the one thing I've heard is that their work-life balance is phenomenal.
Varies greatly by team. After all it's 17k employee company. I have worked with teams which had all Stanford grads and teams with no Stanford grads, both were good teams. When you interview the company isn't just interviewing you, you are interviewing the company as well. If you are smart and know your stuff you will get a glimpse how the team is when you interview for the role
what do you consider as a high hiring bar?
Totally varies by team. My sales ops org hires really well and top talent.
A little sour after not getting the offer, are we?
Haha what offer. What a fucking joke. Adobe is a massive shit hole from what I hear.
Salesforce probably gives out the lowest stock I have ever seen. And total comp is quite below market honestly.
Why are you interested in a "massive shit hole" company anyway. Move on dude, don't be so sour!
And don’t apply again, hehe
So you didn't even get an interview. Learn to deal with disappointment in more constructive ways. This post is a good indication that you're not a good candidate and need to grow up.
As opposed to salesforce that has such a high hiring bar? Get off your high horse
