As long as nice doesn’t keep you from having hard conversations and debates, then fine- I think what I’ve seen is a bit of consensus driven culture which can lead to incremental or mediocre work.
I just watched an entire team disappear because of that.
I run my own business nicely and it puts me at a huge disadvantage. This is why all large corporations are inherently evil. That includes your employer.
