It's possible to be both nice and honest

Square tp9hg5 Apr 11, 2019

Sadly, it's usually neither in many companies.

I've been there, and the best way to deal with such a culture is to leave

As long as nice doesn’t keep you from having hard conversations and debates, then fine- I think what I’ve seen is a bit of consensus driven culture which can lead to incremental or mediocre work.

Amazon y67bert1pz Apr 12, 2019

I just watched an entire team disappear because of that.

eBay mDBW53 Apr 12, 2019

I run my own business nicely and it puts me at a huge disadvantage. This is why all large corporations are inherently evil. That includes your employer.
