Hi, what it’s like to work at Facebook Workplace team? Is the business doing well and the product well received? How are the teams? perspective in what’s it like in APAC would be much appreciated, thanks!
Growing product, looking for a stronger place in the market. They are a SWE product org with a big focus on Small to Medium businesses. There's several pillars, a few hundred engineers. Mostly based on London, there's xfn and cross over to NORAM now the product has grown. If you can't handle product pivots be cautious, they have been trying to corner more of the small to medium business market by focusing on different aspects (video was a big one last year). I think there's a lot of impact for strong vocal engineers.
Thank you for the insights. A recruiter reached out about a sales role and I wanted to understand the strength and potential of the product more, and of course what the Workplace teams are like. Some contacts in the industry don’t seem to be convinced about the the product but I’m inclined to give it a shot.

Good product, 5M+ paying users. Not sure if they sit in Enterprise Engineering or not but I hope not - for your sake.
Isn't Enterprise Engineering the internal IT org?
Nothing to do with Enterprise Engineer, it's part of ads and business platforms. There's a decent amount of SWE, Product, UX, Data, PE, etc over in London
