I've received offers from Oracle and Morgan Stanley. However, my current company hasn't accepted my LWD as stated in my resignation email (even though I provided the required two months notice), as they weren't ready to let me go. This led to a delay due to multiple calls back and forth until I confirmed I would be resigning via email. Both new companies have completed background verification. YOE: 1.5

Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
This is plain manipulation. You are required to stay more than stipulated notice period which was agreed upon in employment contract. Your next course of action depends on which country you live in? ofcourse it also depends what sort of relationship you would want with your current employers??
Exactly, this is very unprofessional. I am from India, by the way. As far as the relationship is concerned, it's almost nil, I would say, as I have been here for only five months. Although everyone here has been super friendly and supportive.
start by writing a mail to HR with your manager in CC that you have resigned on date X(should have sent an email then). Say given the 2 months notice period mentioned in employment contract can they confirm your last working day is X+60. Since this is official communication they won’t risk denying that on email. Keeping things on record and official communication will work in 90% of the cases keep all the records downloaded and saved in personal drive/email.
