Would tech interviewers be nicer on Monday or Friday toward interviewees?
Say interviewers are humans. Pro-Monday: Interviewers are slow on Mondays; They won’t spot or catch your minor bugs. They want to give you easier pass so they can leave for coffee. Anti-Monday: Those who choose to interview candidates on early Mondays are strict interviewers and nitpickers. Pro-Friday: Interviewers cannot wait to start their weekends so they wish to give you short, simple questions and get rid of you fast. Anti-Friday: Those who choose to interview on Fridays are workaholics. They are unhappy to conclude a productive week by interviewing people and tend to give you harder questions. Others: This poll is BS. Interviewers are fair!

I don't think this is a dumb question. In the book thinking fast and slow, they reference a study where judges were shown to be much more strict before lunch.
I too read the book. Does that mean we should avoid Friday onsite?
No idea really! Just saying I bet there is something to it. I'd love to pour over the data for a big company. I bet you could find patterns and answers to your questions.
