Would this be enough for Boulder (Defense)?

I was offered a position for salary range between 98-103K. There is still room for negotiations but since this isn't a tech company, I'd only expect 5-10K signing bonus on top of it. This would be more than enough where I'm at but since Boulder COL is so high I wanted to ask your thoughts. Yoe: 2.5

Id tell them no. Its why I dont apply to companies in colorado. COL is way to high for what they offer salary wise. You'll be renting your whole life because of housing cost.

So I don't have to specifically live in Boulder and commute ~30 min. Is area surrounding Boulder that expensive?

Jacobs, just open up zillow/redfin and look for yourself.

Hey bud I'm in Broomfield, and there's no way that's enough for Boulder, it is enough if you feel like a commute up the turnpike

So I don't have to specifically live in Boulder and could commute ~30 min. Since you're in the area could you please suggest some decent area for single guy in 20s?
