Wrist and Hand pain: Erognomic Keyboard and Mouse.
I am software engineer and having a pain from last couple of weeks. Looking for Erognomic keyboard and mouse which helps to reduce these kind of problems. Please help to buy keyboard and mouse and other tips are also welcome. Edit: Mac Book Pro user Edit: I am going to see doctor next week. I am taking care of that separately just looking for ergonomic options first.
Go to an occupational therapist. Got into similar situation last year and it was really helpful. Anything you do on your own might not be effective or may be completely wrong
Wrist pain might be coming from the nerves in your neck. See a physio therapist.

I have 3 pointing devices I use and switch between, a normal mouse, trackball, and TouchPad. It helps my hands to switch between them to reduce overusing parts of the hand. Take breaks as well

Goldtouch keyboard with maximum tenting. Get a trackball, put it under the tent, and switch between hands. Make sure your wrists are touching nothing, like a pianist. Naproxem sodium to control inflammation.

Hey, what keyboard n mouse finally helped you? I am in a similar situation lately.
You need to heal as well as fix your setup. You need to take a significant amount of time off until the soft tissue is healed, and then adjust your workstation to be more ergo. Even with a perfect setup your injury won't heal without rest.
