Xbox
Is it still worth it to buy the original xbox one, that came out 5 years ago, with 500gb hdd and kinect? Ms has released the upgraded xbox one x/s since but those don't come with kinect no more. But the originL one is cheaper. I like to play games likes gears of war, call of duty black ops, but I have never invested in consoles, i always have been a pc guy, even building my own gaming rig from parts. Suggestions would help.
X is a lot of investment, if in general xbox is the worst, why invest even more in it?
Think you'll be okay playing with the controller instead of a mouse? Don't like the PS4 exclusives? Then get whichever xbox you want. Lose the kinect. I use it once or twice a year despite having kinect games and don't think I should've kept it. It was a gift. I would've gone with a PS4 if it was my choice. Exclusives are amazing imo.
I tried controllers, it is challenging at first, but I can probably get used to it.
Think twice about exclusives too. Spiderman and Uncharted look delicious but they won't be an option.
I bought the Xbox One X last week. Things I immediately missed: Kinect So my suggestion, move to PS4 .
Xbox one x has the best console hardware. So games available on both platforms look better and 9lay smoother because of the beefier graphics power. Ps4 has way better exclusives though. So pick what's more more important to you.
If you just want to game then the S would be good unless you want 4k every thing. If that's the case go X. The original xbox one is bigger, heavier, a bit slower, and comes with half the memory.
I'd suggest the S. It's decently cheap, and is much smaller than the original One.
Xbox is the worst console you can buy, but if you’re going to get one, go with Xbox One X.
