My colleagues from Zurich seem to be working 10+ hours daily
What does happier mean? Is there an objective measure for it?
Yes, average number of smiles per capita
There's no objective measure, but scientists have found that not having to step over human faeces every day is a contributing factor to it.
Europoors at it again . Their vacations are funded by fines on American companies.
Who cares how they are funded?
You'll be long dead when your European peers will enjoy an extra few years of retirement vacations.
Meanwhile we in the UK neither get US pay nor continental European vacation days... Fuck..
My colleagues on the UK told a customer he took a week in summer because more is not acceptable in an American company French me didn’t understand 😂😂
Aye we in UK have worst of every world
I’m going away for 4 weeks straight in October. It feels so good.
…b..but… ThEy WiIiIinNn!
UK work culture is pretty easy going. When I worked for a UK based company, I have never seen UK employees working overtime or on weekends. And the general amount of work done between 9-5 wasnt huge.
The UK is also in a steep economic decline.
Yes, that's what you get when you withdraw from one of the largest free economic trading zones; your economy suffers.
Chinese have it the worst, followed probably by Indians.
Why are we comparing with the worst
Have you read Indias ranking on any list? Other than population we aren’t in a lot of top 50 lists let alone the top 3
And get paid like 1/3 of the US salary for the same job
They don’t care. I have friends in Europe and we always have this conversation, as crazy as it sounds, as long as they can pay for food, rent, a month of frugal vacation and some other necessities they are completely fine, even with little to no savings … crszy but true
Yeah crazy that there are people who don't need to earn shitloads of money to have a decent life.
And in France you can retire at like 30, with 80% of your government pension
Totally sustainable
Lol
