TC - £70k base, $60k RSU over 4 years Sign on + relocation - £7k + £4k (moving from Ireland) YOE - 4 years I was also told I'm a "higher" IC2 and will probably be promoted to IC3 after a year. Have I been lowballed? From what I saw on other posts here, people with half my experience have gotten similar or slightly better numbers. #yelp #london #offer #dublin
Agree on remove promo, no guarantees. IC2 would be closer to 85k London I would have thought on base?
Yeah, I thought so too after looking at other posts here.
Is moving to London a priority? DM me if you are keen on staying Dublin and I’ll try to help with someone there
I got £140K IC3 offer with 6 YOE, so from my point of view I think you probably don’t want to move until you get a better deal, or better company. In Dublin there are companies paying €120K up, so my suggestion for you is to wait and keep looking.
What's the breakup
Break up on comp?
Remove the promise of a promo from your head. Now look at the offer again. Aren't rents cheaper in London? 70k would be a good salary in Dub as well for your xp. How much did you earn in Dub? I'm base 60k w/ 2.5yers xp. Obviously you should always ask for a bit more when given the offer, worst they will say it's final.
Am at €72K base in Dublin, current job is fully remote though. Would the move be worth it?
