Hi all - Been unemployed the past 3 months and after relentless interviewing, I have two offers: ADP - Lead Product Manager (hybrid) 185k cash comp (base + bonus) Rocket Central - Senior Product Manager (Remote) 160k cash comp There are small equity components to each but not much. Any suggestions? Looks like ADP is quite a bit more stable but rocket’s work might be more interesting to me. Previous TC (base+ bonus) 155k YoE: 5 #tech #interview #offers
ADP for sure. You’ll learn a lot with their engineering stacks. At face, they sound old, but once you’re in, you’ll realize there’s plenty of teams on cutting edge tech. Bias: I used to work for them
I used to work at ADP too 😂 I’d be a rehire. But yes some teams are great in that regard.
You got out of this hell hole once, and you want to go back in?! Don't you know that the former head of HR is now the chief product officer?
Holy cow. People really out here paying less than 200k for Lead PM roles now
Yeah, though in fairness at 5 YoE (3 years in PM) so I’m below the typical 8+ years experience required for lead roles.
ADP for the resume build. Rocket for the remote work. Depends on your stage of career needs and preference.
I’m mid/earlyish career at 5 years of experience. My last role was remote which was alright but I do miss a little bit of the occasional in person work.
Then you have your answer ;) It’s good to go into office as you do miss out on random networking opportunities.
Which location for ADP? East coast or west?
New Jersey
Did you join ADP ? How do you feel ?
I did, it’s been alright

In this market, I would take ADP. The name on the resume will take you farther.
