^ i need to become a youtuber! Are we in the wrong field?
if everyone is MrBeast who will watch your videos?
It will just be a circlejerk
But we already have blind
Youtuber making more than the CEO of Youtube is kinda nuts
Its Not when you think about it. The youtube ceo goes away is a lesser pain to google than Mr beast going off youtube to his own platform
I mean, not really if you think about it. Creators are the talent. Their output is the real product people are paying for. Nobody would pay for YouTube premium if there was no content to watch on it. The platform for hosting and delivering content is a commodity. Sure it's a near monopoly in actuality, but it's still just a platform for content and provides much less value on its own compared to the content it serves. Do you think it's weird that movie stars can make more money starring in one film than the CEO of the movie studio behind the production makes in a year?
“I need to become the most successful individual content creator of all time”
metamate state of mind
To be fair, Mr. Beast is managing a company so I’d consider his Adsense to be his company’s earnings. He has to pay his employees out of this money + sponsorships. That being said his net income might be greater than 3.6M.
MrBeast can succeed on any platform If YouTube fails one day, he will just move to a different one and his audience will follow
You need to be in top 1% to achieve both
Mr beast is more like top 0.001%
That doesn't sound like a accurate CEO pay
Yeah sounds lile that is just the base and annual stocks. CEOs get rewarded with massive stock bonuses if they hit targets, so that 3.6 would go to 36 in a good year.
Low level VP’s make that much, YT CEO is at least 15M
Wrong field, more like wrong character in game of life, where is the restart button.
Youtube CEO _salary_ might be 3.6m but his stock based comp is likely in the 10s of millions. And he isn't a business while Mr. Beast effectively is, and Mr. Beast has to use "his" earnings to pay for his business operations. The youtube CEO's compensation is basically his income since hes just an employee, so his net income might be higher. Also granted both are 0.01% outcomes I'd be willing to bet that content creation is way more left skewed than compensation at a top tech company. 99.99% of content creators probably never break 6 figures, and getting to mr beast levels of success is probably as likely as making a unicorn tech company and having a successful exit.
Bingo.
not even unicorn but a trillion dollar one
You need a likable personality to be a content creator
Everyone hates me so i’d take the controversial route like Andrew Tate
Nope. Look at content creators like FoodieBoy. 2 million subscribers and they never show their face or even say a word in their videos
