Anyone know what Engineering teams are like @Avalara? Glassdoor Reviews are awful or good and hard to distinguish. How is the outlook since IPO?

Personally I love my team and have had only good experiences but it depends on the team, like most places
The company has a really, really great outlook. The room for company growth is incredible. Individual career growth? Depends on how you want to play the game. If you are a boot licker, ass kisser or yes man, you will do just fine with the senior engineering leadership and may find yourself moving up quickly. If you are a skeptic and voices concerns and communicates issues, you will be quickly shut out, and you will lose any opportunity for future career growth at the company. Engineering senior leadership is really bad. Middle management can be hit or miss.
In my experience the awful reviews are the ones to pay attention to
