Hi everyone, I have an hour long phone interview coming up with Verizon and want to know what to focus on for my interview prep. Recruiter says there’s three rounds phone, technical panel, and onsite with leadership. I’ve been doing LC for other interviews. Any tips on what I should practice? Role calls for 4yoe Java, python, c/c++ Also I was informed the background check can take a year. Does this sound right? Thank you
It's been ten years. Vzw did only two calls. Technical then leadership interview in which they spot check the resume then do hypothetical scenario of which you enter meeting as newbie, what do you do. What do you do if everyone is busy? What initiatives do you take?
Uh background checks just take a few days to a week

A year? Wtf? No it should be done in a week. Unless they are doing a top clearance for u!
In fairness the recruiter did say 6mo- a year. But yes, in the past the check has been very fast for me. Maybe she was just covering worst case scenario
