Hey Team Blind, Today I heard from someone from higher management that Amazon is going in to bid for Kohl's for 70$ a share (considerably more than the current talks of 60$). Do you think it's going to be a good move, expanding the offline footprint ? TC: 280 #amazon #acquisition #kohls
In other words you are long $KSS
What are we gonna do with that?
Is this insider trading?
No. Its a rumour.
Damn, Amazon has that much Kohl's cash?
Only Elon has the right to buy companies in this economy and then bail out. Imagine Elon buying Kohls and then few weeks later bail out saying the mannequins are bots and not real...
This doesn't sound like a good deal. The brand value is not that great. Their tech isn't that great. Not sure if they have any supply chain advantages. Footprint - Buying real estate would be much cheaper and strategic than buying Kohl's for their footprint.
Drop those calls hon
