I have scheduled an onsite Interview for principal data engineer role at Zillow. Recruiter said 4-5 hours of interview and didn’t share much info. Any one can share any inputs ? What to focus on,etc.,?
The fact that Zillow rhymes with Pillow is NOT a coincidence, as much as they may deny
Hmm I don't think they deny this. I listened to a radio interview with its CEO last time, and he said Zillow comes from "Zillion of Pillows" :) I was like... Ohhhhhhhhhhh *enlightened*
What are perks of working for Zillow - do they give bonuses in houses?
Leaving FANG for Zillow??
So far no regrets.
I interviewed at Zillow . They do not deny it. Zillow is Zillions of Pillows.
Recruiter should give more info, but I would expect 2 system design, 2 coding and 1 managerial interview. Note the process hugely varies between SF, SEA and NY
2 system design? are they both same system design as you would expect in faang interview?
Would love to know the difference between SF SEA and NY
What tier would would people put Zillow in?

Interesting . What kind of data ? Your MAU is lower than Zillow’s MAU
