Zillow Interview Process

I just completed my last round of loop interviews with Zillow today for a Program Manager role. I met with the Hiring Manager virtually, then four virtual interviews with various people I’d be working with within the org. Three hours after my last interview I received an email from the recruiter saying they’ve had a chance to meet with the hiring manager and team and would like me to schedule time on their calendar for feedback and next steps with a “looking forward to connecting!” to end the message. For those familiar with the Zillow interviewing process.. does this indicate whether I got it or not? Or it’s anyone’s guess at this point?

Not Zillow but I have gotten emails like that twi either the last 3yrs, and It was a hire decision. That being its also a common email signature, so I wouldn't get too excited or read much into it.

If it were a reject, next steps would be a sole call w recruiter to tell you thanks but no thanks, they are moving on to more qualified candidates. Gluck!

Hm, I’ve had it both ways, one startup recruiter asked for a call to share the news of a reject, but usually rejections are email only. I would say that most likely the quick feedback from team and manager means they really want to fill this role soon

That could be a great sign. You either got it or they are telling you they went with someone else. I am internal applied for a lateral P4 role, no reply from manager. I received a generic e-mail saying there are other candidates they are moving forward with. Not even a chance to interview on a role I’m qualified for. Even my manager claims to not no why. No explanation. If you don’t get the job, you’ll be fine

Sorry to hear. That's the worst when you don't get an internal move you know your a perfect fit for. ESPECIALLY when they don't even give you a shot. Been there, and it's incredibly frustrating.

Literally just had this experience. Almost verbatim. Seems like it may be standard procedure for them. Recruiter wants me to wait 1 week for “feedback and next steps” until they are back in office after PTO. Why not just share the decision - hired or not hired? In this climate, this feels cruel.
