I have my virtual on-site next week and just got a notification that "Zillow Group welcomes you to GrubHub", then saw I had $20 in credit. Is that normal?
Their way of paying for lunch.
Classy!
Where the hell are they giving out $20 lunches? The delivery fee, platform fee and the driver tip easily make up at least $10. So basically a $10 lunch or lesser
I've been on dozens of interviews in the past few months so a company doing a nice gesture β $10 or not β is something.
You can order two $10 pickups
Nice I'll interview just for the credit
If that's what your time's worth, why not π
Shopify gave all intern candidates that cleared the life story a $30 UberEats voucher. Then they cancelled the internship program and did layoffs π Anyways the burger was good.
Yes, since they don't do onsite interviews anymore, it's a kind gesture to pay for your lunch during the virtual onsite. I admire such little surprises from companies. It's a reflection of the company culture
I didn't get jackshit. My interviews are scheduled for next week. Oh its just scheduled today...maybe its coming. I need that $20 for my next meal.
Yes itβs normal. I also got it although didnβt use it.
I suspected I wasn't special!
