Zoom is going on crazy ride with P/E ratio now more than 2000s. Do you think this stock is highly overvalued? Correction... P/E value now is more than 2300 after today's rally
It will drop after earnings tomorrow
I think it's real value is about 60
SPY P/E ratio is still 21 so yes overvalued but compare that to zoom with P/E value of more than 2300 🙄
At least it has a positive earnings. There are ton of companies that make no money
Zoom hired a chief diversity officer - not sure if this is good or bad news. Why does anyone need to hire based on a diversity qualification while WFH? It's not like you see everybody in person while on zoom either. I imagine that most companies hire based on interview performance and not using diversity as any qualification. Either way this will impact stocks too - just later on when the impact on productivity is seen.
Diversity is not about faces and clothes. It is about the difference in thinking that comes from the difference in background, childhood, life style and the struggles different people go through as a group.
Don't get me wrong - I agree this works when we interact with people on a day to day basis. Like interact with people in person and on a closer personal note. But this is remote work. Like we don't just hit random people up at work via zoom. Know what I mean? It's that diversity is quite literally almost an non existent factor in a remote environment. Like most people rarely show their faces to meetings if they can - due to bandwidth or maybe they don't want to. If everyone is remote, i argue there is kinda no point in worrying about diversity in this COVID crisis. It has nothing to do with if I think diversity is bad (which I think diversity is good for company culture and PR), it's more so that why does zoom care about this as its priority? It's almost as if they are afraid of being looted and lynched if they don't meet some sort of diversity quota. It's a sign that Zoom is under pressure to do something like this to invest in a Chief diversity officer and a department and a buttload of employees under him for what? You don't know these people cuz they all are remote and struggles are less known because we don't talk to them and get to know them because we quite literally don't meet them in person.

Isn’t that obvious?
If it was that obvious, it would not be going another 14% up today
