Reddit friends, I've heard through the grapevine from a source high up at Reddit that there will be layoffs coming soon as not enough folks were rated low during performance reviews and managed out. These layoffs will not just hit G&A and Sales but also some bloated and non revenue generating EPD teams. Start leetcoding and best of luck to you all. #reddit #layoffs #tech

Yeah, no layoffs. Infact a lot of hiring happening right now from people who are affected by layoffs
Anyone claiming no layoffs because Reddit is hiring is very, very naive or brand new to tech. In the last bust companies were adding headcount until the day they closed their doors. Does cutting benefits seem like the sign of a company doing well? Is Steve acting like the kind of CEO you’d want to put your trust behind. Reddit is an overvalued message board struggling to be anything else. NFTs are not going to save the day. 100% layoffs are coming.
How many employees does Reddit have and how do they pay relative to FAANG?
People really seem to believe what they see on the front page of a website is representative of what it's like to work there and it makes no sense lol As if product managers at reddit spend 8 hours a day arguing about abortion
