OpenAI $1M Statistics

I'm just generally curious about folks who get packages at OpenAI and Anthropic for $750K+ What are their stats? Does everyone need to have a PhD? Can a strong IC with a bachelors make it in as well? Do they only hire folks with a publication track record in niche areas (alignment, autonomy, etc.)? Any thoughts?

Few colleagues left there. Mix of BS/MS junior and high senior levels. Deep infra experience and I’m sure they’re making 1M+ otherwise not worth moving.
