I have an onsite in a little over a month. I’ve heard the interviews have become less LC focused and more on LP and OO design (I think system design is out of scope for SDE1?). I’m at 285 LC done (40/40/20) easy/medium/hard and have 8 stories written up. Im planning on studying 3 hours a day, 1 for LP, 1 on LC, 1 on OO design (is this usually just writing out classes, some variables within the class, and some inheritance flows?) Any advice is appreciated! YOE: 0.8 years TC: 110
I am curious to know how you would prepare for LP
I wrote 8 stories that I believe cover Dan Croiters 35 questions and tied each story in with 2-3 leadership principles at least and explicitly mention the behavior of various LP. I’ve been practicing talking in front of the mirror daily and try to think about what followups would be asked to grill me on my stories
Prepone your onsite and get done with it. You are well prepared.
I feel like that but you never know. I want to give it my best shot because this opportunity could change my life
You have done ~300LC That is way more that what is needed to crack Amazon. And looks like you are well prepared with LC as well. There is no point in delaying now. You might lose momentum if you delay it further.
