apple HW hiring freeze?
#interview #hardware hi, anyone can tell me of apple HW is in hiring freeze, apart from the news which says, its not? a friend of mine has given succesful interviews, received a verbal offer and havent recieved the offer letter for about 3 weeks now. recruiter is very responsive and says hes waiting for internal approval, which makes sense. We are wondering whats happening internally at apple HW teams! anyone can tell the ETA for the offer to arrive?

No freeze, I’ve been interviewing people constantly over the past few weeks.
Internal approvals take time. It took 3 weeks for me as well.
Nope, not on hiring freeze, I know a couple of ppl who got offers in past 2 weeks. Maybe push them saying u have another offer deadline to speed it up.

Process doesn’t change at all !
So how long does it take?
Can confirm, no freeze. I got my formal offer ~2 days after verbal. I’m in Ops.

No freeze at Apple yet. I just interviewed 2 people last week.
Wonderful. Great news. How about the Sr management working on approvals then? Are they slow due to constant assessment of budgets and forecast? Any idea about it?
I don’t know exactly what’s going on there but I can assume that it might take some time to get over all the hoops. I believe either up to VP or SVP approval needed in general to generate an offer so I can guess that’s taking time these days.
