asked for a bump up to market rate which is 135, i got 115
but i also heard from a company who wants to hire me and will pay 135-140 base. in nyc and do product design. id also have a team there and a path to become team lead in a year. what do i do? do i tell my employer?

I wouldn’t. Counter offers rarely work out well. They’ll consider you a flight risk.
