Sumo Logic?
Hey Everyone, I'm just starting to apply for companies in the SF Bay Area for a SWE role, with <2 YOE. A company that got back to me so far is Sumo Logic. Anyone who works there, how is the engineering culture? Should I join? What would compensation look like? Recruiter told me they're going to IPO next year. Good time to join? Thanks
Yes great time to join. Amazing culture. Compensation of course stock + base. Base is better than amazon for sure.

Engineering culture is customer oriented, collaborative, with good wlb. Mostly modern stack and tech on AWS. The teams practice total ownership. There are a lot of challenges and opportunities at all levels in all functions spanning big Data, distributed systems, and systems thinking. Stock depends on the level. IPO is most likely getting closer but the CEO and the CFO, that joined 1 year ago with a lot of experience with IPOs, are not saying anything.
