I was fortunate enough to receive and accept a new grad role at bloomberg. I've always been the type to excel at algorithms + lc style interviews but not quite so much the job itself and would appreciate tips specific to bloomberg regarding its culture, work style, etc beyond the typical learning quickly and asking good questions. obviously rate of progress and other aspects must be somewhat team dependent but I'm hoping to be a top performer and level up quickly. I'm aware that there's a lengthy training period then a team matching process. I'm hoping to be matched with a low latency / cpp team as that's where my interests lie and would also appreciate insight as to how I can maximize my chances there blind tax: 175 ish (pennies!) #bloomberg #bloombergindustrygroup #bb #newgrad #cpp #quant #software @bloomberg
Put a little Panera lemonade in your humidifier it’ll all be over soon
I just want to make money to support my parents man
You leetcode again to get out of bloomberg
Is Bloomberg that bad? In this new grad market I was under the impression that it's ok. Friends of mine with 5x faang internship even struggling to find anything... Have heard that it is very slow though. Probably org dependent
Yes it is not a place to retire or get rich. If you want normal ass life with benz c class then you can stay at bloomberg until you die
If you have other offers don't join Bloomberg, it's bad for your career
Anything is better than statefarm.
Why do you say that gloom?
Tc?
sorry forgot what patform i was on for a second there :D
