can I contribute to Lawsuits against Apple?

I’ve got no knowledge about how these things work, but are there groups which are taking Apple to court for deliberately slowing down iOS devices? If these efforts are crowd-funded, can we contribute/donate? I’m just a hurt consumer who cares for devices very well, and am willing to use them for longer time. But, these devices are rendered almost useless with these updates. I don’t even know a way to get back to the original iOS versions, just to resume the usability of when the device was purchased :(

Lol. Not saying I’d stop buying that new phone every year, just want my “The New iPad” to be able to type faster than 2 chars per minute :(

Generally speaking, most class-action lawsuits are opt-out. That’s why they are called class-action lawsuits.

Usually. You don’t need to fund it. Some lawyers will fight to get the privilege to sue and they will get a huge amount from the settlement $ Apple Pay

I wish some environmental groups join this. Planned obsolescence is really bad for environment

Good point

The missing strong denial from other firms means this is a widespread practice. Save your money. This is why class action suits exist.

Moto, LG, Samsung, htc all denied it. Apple is unique in the sense that users tend to but Apple products again, so they have an incentive to screw users more than other brands.

Not really, you really need lots of money to go head on against Apple, they can outspend typical small fry class action law firms.
