just heard my city has coronavirus. will my company naturally expect everyone to work from home?
What city? Seattle?
Seriously? Your city has 1 case and you expect Marshall law? Grow up
1 official case. Who knows how many might be around. Slowing down the spread is essential. You’re either being double ironic or just stupid and also an asshole
Its a little bit more severe than a flu. Grow up
Why are you asking People on blind and not your HR or management team? The answer is “Yes”
If you city has coronavirus you have to isolate it
How about us?! We still don't get that option, and we have one in our city reported already!
Nope. My city has many cases and our company is still having us come in.
Still not getting why everyone is so ga-ga over COVID-19. If you're under 40, AND you catch it, your odds of dying from it are 1 in 500. And MILLIONS have been exposed to it without even CONTRACTING it. Sure, playing Rusdian roulette with ANY bullets in the gun is a risk to be avoided, but the focus should be on proper hygiene more than WFH.
They key to slowing down the spread is minimizing virus exposure. Working from home is much more effective than washing hands. What’s wrong with asking for that if the job itself allows it?
Oh you try catching it and be this cool then we’ll think about not working from home.
Att doesnt give a crap about their employees
