If you haven’t heard about them. Look them up. (sig.com) Trading company based in Bala Cynwyd, PA, but has many locations in the world. Pays real well. Work is flexible with partial WFH 2 days a week. Free lunch and snacks and gym and a lot more. They apply for your Green Card after a year should you need one. They recently ramped up their recruiting effort and doubled the referral bonus. So I’m giving out referrals (DM me your email or resume here or to my email at joeyhoangcs@gmail.com). If you are hired we’ll split the referral bonus (2500$ for you and 2500$ for me). They don’t pay referral bonus for new grad, but I’m willing to refer you still. I read that they increased their pay bands. Can you give some TC examples for SWE?
For new grad in Bala Cynwyd the TC is 115k, which is very livable given the expenses even if you live in Philly
How does the pay compare to other top firms (2Sig, HRT, Citadel)?
I’m not really sure what the actual salaries of those firms or even my company. It varies a lot case by case but you can look at the range from glassdoor for an idea
New Grad offers at HRT start around 420k (200 base, the rest signing and bonuses). Strangely experienced hires are also around that range, but can go up to 600k from what I hear
