It’s just not worth more than Google and Amazon. All my bs alarms are going off — wouldn’t be surprised if it drops sharply at some point this year. Hypetrain is carrying just like GameStop. But nevertheless congratulations to all Nvidia stock holders.

I mean I get a lot of customer delight using my GTX 4060 and LLM’s. Same can’t be said for Amazon, where there is a higher probability that some stuff I order is junk from a third rate “shop” based out of China, and where my Prime subscription had more and more features ripped out of it before I cancelled it

Agreed that Nvidia is in an overall good place, but this latest surge is too dependent on hype. We will see for sure in their earnings.

Transaction volume’s volatility does not impress me. Until it gains strength it will just continue to move with the rest of the risky asset class.

You got one company on earth that knows how to build a semi decent AI accelerator and now they even have a ARM CPU to sell. I am still bullish. Sam alt is asking for 7Trillion to compete with NVDA.
The technology is awesome. But infra can never compete with consumer facing products. Unless you’re in oil, but AI is not at oil-level yet.
People forget that Google also has the same (or even better) hardware capabilities. The moment Google leadership releases the shackles and sells it's chips, it will be over for NVIDIA
