eBay folks - Is the vacation policy flexible or everything is strictly tracked and restricted? Also How's the current wlb

It's pretty chill, depends on the manager. We don't put anything in the system for 1-2 days

Apart from the payments org everything is good. Lot of people in my team take vacations for trips, hobbies, etc as long as u give heads up to manager & he can plan. I actually like old style pto in ebay as compared to unlimited coz it's not really unlimited.
Makes sense. I see unlimited PTO as a scam
WLB is great at eBay. It's full rest and vest lifestyle. I joined approximately an year back and haven't had any pressure to get shit done. (I am not an SE though - I am a a researcher).

It's a hit or miss. How does your manager sound? Overall culture is supposed to be nice. People have been here for decades.
