#redhat Job Offer
Unless you’re team is toxic, why would go for less money?
Red Hat isn't Red Hat anymore. It was acquired by IBM some years back and the culture had changed for the worse. Keep that in mind when considering your future.
What is your goal from this move? I dont see the motivation, unless you’re moving from non technical role to a technical!
I’m currently a L6 at GOOG with no chance for promotion and there’s zero growth opportunities, my boss is a gaslighting asshole, and in general things are not good. This opportunity represents a manager position which I’ve been trying to move to for a while. It’s also transitioning from a semi technical role to a fully technical role. Which is where I started and what I’ve been working to get back to.
I see, just keep in mind you will need to stay in the in new role for at least a year! Then try to switch! Gaslighting people are the worst!
Red hat is not that bad... it's changed yes but a lot if the people complaining are the ones who were cruising but won't admit it. Some people have been let go that shouldn't have but that happens all around...sadly
Also this :)
How is this even a question?
Oh saw your follow up. Move to red hat.
Why would you wanna change from GOOG ?
