Switching to a different role at Nokia

Until you receive the final offer, you only need to maintain communication between recruiter and the hiring manager in regards of interview schedules and final offer. Your current manager would not know your move and you don't have any obligation to share. Once you have agreed with final offer you need to talk with your current line manager to inform him/her about your new offer. At this point your manager and hiring manager will communicate your last day in current role. You only need to wait from either party to inform your last day. Your current manager will not able to block the move, but depend on the negotiation he/she can delay your move up to 2 months. This is also will depend on the VISA stamping, but since you are from EU and probably move to US using L1 VISA, there should be no problem.
Typically no, but people talk. If the hiring manager likes you, he would bring you. Visa wise it is easy since you are a nokia already. You need to an employee for 1 year to get L1 visa. Good luck
