Why is opinion on Blind so divided about Ramp? Seems like half the opinions are that it's a great place to work and half are that it's burning money and is desperately trying to avoid failure. Why are people so divided, and what's the reality?
Ramp is absolutely dominating the spend mgmt market. Brex RIF news and new entries in to the market are severely under capitalized, grew too fast, do not have the revenue to support their operations. Ramp is slowly (but effectively) building out more and more functionality to control the entire payables experience at companies. For example, they cover card, expense mgmt, bill pay and now Procurement. This is something modern players such as airbase, brex, Navan do not have and simply do not support.
I found out about ramp because Neil wu works there
We have like 10 years of runway. lol
Is that why you had to raise another 150mm like 7-8 months after just raising 300 million?
The opinion is divided, sure, but I haven't seen a single anti-Ramp Blind user with Ramp as their workplace, and all the Ramp users seem to have nothing but good things to say about Ramp.
Why the anti ramp sentiment then? Ppl who got rejected?
haha, no idea. you're better off asking them why rather than me.
ramp is doing great and actually pretty frugal. anyone who tries to argue otherwise is likely that guy from rippling or bitter about failing an interview to join ramp
When do you think IPO prospects are?
What gives you confidence in this view?
