Why people hide their real nam on dating and matrimony websites and get offended when ask about their full name as most of them use alias and not full name Most of them block or unmatch you when asked their full name Is it too much to expect? #marriage #bumble #tinder #dating
Do you care about caste, region and religion? That’s probably the impression you’re giving off
Why does it matter even if I do But it’s more of knowing the person starting with full name and developing trust just by simply sharing full name And it’s most important thing on matrimony which they skip
Its easy to dox and stalk with full names and its orthodox and backward if u r still into caste system so it does matter. If i got that vibe off a person I would unmatch/block too
They probably afraid of people doxing them
Because it’s easy to find their other profiles on sites like LinkedIn using their first names and professions and/or company names.
As someone with a unique name, it is very easy to find my LinkedIn, social medias, etc just with my first name and location. I have had experiences being stalked where I would politely decline and say I’m not inclined to move forward, but then have had them message on LinkedIn, Insta, etc to try to contact me. If someone does not want to share their full name from reasons as this, please build trust with them until they are comfortable sharing it with you. It comes across as super insensitive to ask
Is that the first thing you ask?
I ask after couple of interactions before sharing phone no or if they want to meet in person
