Married or people who have a partner, do you still feel bored?
I have a job lined up with Instagram in the Spring after i graduate college, making TC in the top 1% of CS grads, ive worked on myself socially, can carry convos pretty well, learned to cook very well, am very athletic, dress well, take care of hygiene, etc. The problem is i grew up poor and currently dont even have a car on campus, so i guess it hurts my dating prospects. Ive also spent an extreme amount of time studying. I also spend too much time on side projects. I wont name apps but ive published top 100 app store hits on iOS and app development to make side income is what takes a bit of my free time. I also dont think im ugly, im 6 ft tall too so idk. Guess standards for guys is ridiculously high these days. Plus when i go to Silicon Valley in springtime to work for FB i think its just gonna get worse. This life fricking sucks. Feels like no matter what you do nothing works out. TC: i make $700-1000 a month from apps and have offer from FB for ~$200k new grad
I am. I study in large rooms and do sets of sprints, push ups, sit ups in between studying constantly
How many girls/guys have you asked out and got rejected? Unless if you asked out every attractive guy/girl in your campus and got rejected life doesnât suck. Grow some and go hit on girls/guys and tell them about your apps.
Dude OP is girl
Oops. Updated my comment to be gender neutral
Are you creating opportunities for spontaneous connection? People generally donât decide to date someone based on a list of attributes (consciously) - itâs a lot about how they feel around you. If youâre spending time with enough people in casual environments (study groups, sports, board games, whatever you like doing thatâs social), someoneâs gonna end up liking you. Youâve still gotta recognize it and follow up (assuming itâs mutual). People are pretty self absorbed and donât go out of their way unless you give them a reason to
Sounds like most things in your life are going well - nice work
I took a heavy semester to graduate early but still try to go out with friends to clubs downtown n have fun. I do have ppl I study with but itâs a few girls and I just see them as friends tbh
You have to work with the cards youâre dealt. Start with obvious strengths, e.g. your height is a plus. Build upon it
Lifts?
That too. Getting a bicycle, nice clothes, shoes etc. overall appearance
You just finished college. Relax. You're still a child in many people's eyes. Everything else in your life is going well -- think about how probabilistically unlikely it is for someone like you to not have at least one problem in life? Thus acknowledge that you're only human and all of us have problems; relationships just happen to be yours. Work on it over time. Life is long, and you only need to have one successful relationship in the end
You graduating from goldman sachs college? Nothing you listed here sets you apart. You think girls want to date you cause you can hold a convo or cook? Thats just basic survival skills. Anyway youâre young, itâll take you a few more years if not all of your 20s to get a clue.
I interned there lol itâs not a college đ§.
You have plenty of time, OP. Take it easy. Your first relationship is likely going to be unsuccessful but you'll learn a lot from it. Remember to find someone whom you can respect and someone who respects you back. Don't date people who have glaring flaws you think you can "fix". You also shouldn't blame one thing for your problems (eg car) keep trying and learning and you'll see that its not so hard after all
Girls have cooties anyways, focus on TC for maximum e-peen đ¤
Maybe work out more? You sound like an insecure little boy.
Try reading? Why flame, I mean I get having to work at Cisco sucks but... cmon
Not sure if you are delusional or not, someone you described above wont make a post like this, hence why I told you to actually work out and improve your personality instead of trolling and imagining nonexistent yourself. Lack of confidence and insecurity overflows in this post
"Dont think I'm ugly" . Why don't we let other people decide. Also I don't see TC.
Ya bro post a pic of yourself. Zuck can put you on hot or not
