Doesn’t keep up with tech mostly because SDEs at all levels senior and under get same sick package of 12k over 4 years with the same amount of refreshers every year. Base is ok I guess…Senior technically goes all the way up to 198k base but highest in company atm is 172k or something

Interview can vary depending on org. Expect leetcode easy to medium and expect to talk about your projects in depth may ask questions on specific technologies like Kafka k8s etc. Comp for sde2 I think middle of band is 145k cash and 12k stock over 4 years (same for everyone until you get to manager/principal) and target bonus is 0-20% usually everyone gets 10%. Salary may be lower depending on interview but just FYI returning interns usually get brought back as SDE2s unless they were bad

All was standard for me (not an SDE). 4, 30 min interviews, then a quick decision. Fully remote 4k/yr in RSU, 30% off at stores plus bag of beans. Small bonus. Pay is on par with F500 non Seattle pay. So if you live it Seattle they underpay
Expect a question similar to the Tower of Hanoi problem where you pour coffee from the first cup to the last one!
