Hey Blind, anyone can shed some light on how’s the work life balance for IC6+ meta product designer? Thx! #ui/ux #design #meta
Everything depends on the team you land on + being good about identifying pointless meetings to not attend.
It’s the most stressful level at the company. You have to practically be a team lead, create scope for others, and also execute on your own projects. IMO you’re doing both the work of a manager and IC without a manager title and the HR stuff.
Non-existent as far as I know. When I interviewed there, and have since gotten to know a couple of ic6 designers, I've heard a pretty common refrain from the designers that a large part of their days are meetings so they often have to work in the evenings to get their actual work done. So somewhat anecdotal but I've heard that more than once so it seems corroborated.
