Apple hiring freeze?
Anyone know if Apple is on hiring freeze given the layoffs last week? I was in middle of discussions and they said they wanted to talk again and then ghosted me on layoffs day when I was supposed to talk again. It was pretty weird but I have heard they often ghost people so maybe they just didn’t want to move forward (which is a big bummer!!).
Exact same thing happened to me… went through the loop got a mail from recruiter saying they wanted to talk again and then no contact. It’s been 2 weeks…. Not sure what’s going on. It was for a staff SWE position

In a same boat. Completed my interviews end of March. Then no response from recruiter on multiple followups. the job posting is marked as not available on website.

If jobs with titles posting doesn’t show up on Apple career site this means the position has been closed - either they hired someone else or decided not to fill the req at all.
same happened to me too, no response from recruiter since early April
I finally got generic rejection email.
